Lisa ‘Lee’ Colvin
Lisa, aka Lee, is the Co-Founder and Director of Community Relations for Issa Vibe Adventures. She is responsible for developing and facilitating the implementation of partnership projects, community outreach and charitable functions. Born and raised in the Bull City (Durham, NC), graduate of NC A&T State University with a degree in Laboratory Animal Science, and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Lisa relocated from Durham to Charlotte NC in 2015. She is a program coordinator by day and a crafter by night. Nature showed her a form of peace and clarity that helped to combat anxiety and depression and created an urge to share this outlet with her community. She is a registered ACA Kayak Instructor, and certified in Wilderness First Aid, CPR/AED, and Leave no Trace Awareness. She lives for the adventure and keeps the guys on their toes.
Charles Gbenyon
Charles serves as Co-founder, Social Media Account Manager and Assistant Director of Outdoor Programs. Charles was bornin Monrovia, Liberia. With over 10 years of outdoor experience and a background in finance, he is responsible for building integrated programming that includes content, cost analysis, quality specifications, and outcomes related to projects. He also co-leads hikes, and outdoor events with other team leaders. Charles is wilderness first aid and cpr certified. ACA certified kayaking instructor. Charles enjoys, camping, running, cooking, and the Arts.
Ali Steele
Co-Founder Ali Steele is Issa Vibes’ Director of Outdoor Programs, Inventory Manager and creative consultant. Ali lends his knowledge of African culture, race theory and music to his role; creating innovative social media campaigns, engaging a diverse audience, and guiding, moderating and supporting client communities through platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Whenever he is not working with the Issa Vibe team Ali dedicates his time to running the Ethnic by Ali organization and touring to promote his latest album entitled “Raw”.
